On my radar: Florence Pugh’s cultural highlights

I decided to read the snapshot about Florence Pugh, she is a famous actress, (I'm sure that you know her) she has many movies that I love like Midsommar or Little Women. I was surprised when I read that she hrew up between England and Spain, and I also discovered that she comes from an arty family, that her mother was a dancer and that all her siblings are actors.

In that article talks about movies, books, music, and like the actress she is iben tolk abut plays. The thing that I found most interesting in the post was about the music; She mention that during she was rolling Midsommar she found a big inspiration for his performance in the music of Ólafur Arnalds (I don't know who he is). She expres that his music it's sad but hopeful at the time, and that help her to express better his filings for the movie.

My currrent cultural radar

1. MOVIE: Fight Club
I'm a big fan of thriller movies, so I like every movie with suspense and a good plop twist. I think this movie it's a classic of cinema, reflective and existentialist, offering a critisism about conformism and the system :)

2. SONG: Good Luck, Babe! - Chappell Roan
Lately I'm OBSESSED! with this song, the lyrics are so sad but the beat is happy and motivting, I think that's what makes it so addictive, Chappell Roan is a great singer.

3. SERIES: Malcolm
Malcolm it's a great series when you want watch something funny and easy to see. Talks about a caotic family and sometimes remind me at my family haha. I saw it when I was a child, but now I see it again whit my mom.

4. BOOK: Tender is the flesh
"Tender is the flesh" it's a book that talks about a distopic future, where canibalisim its allowed and the population is separated between people who consume and those who are for consumption. Actually its a critisism at speciesm, and society who gaves more value at some animals than others. It's a great book to question current society and it's ways of life.

5. THEATRE: Mamma mia!
I love plays, especially if they are musicals,, Mamma Mia is one of my favorites, mustly because they use music by Abba, it's also a movie but I enjoy the play more. I think it's a lovely story and I like howthey delve into the mother-daughter relationship.
